Would you touch the Stanley Cup?

The Stanley Cup

Would you touch the Stanley Cup, or you do you think it is bad luck and only should be reserved for players who have won it?

When I have met the Stanley Cup back when Bryan and I were on our holiday in Tonroto a few years ago, I can only compare it to meeting god for the first time, the feeling of shock and awe came over me. I did not know weather or not I should touch it, and shakes its hand. As you can tell by the picture, I seem a little unsure if I am breaking any superstitions. I want my Canucks to win the cup!

Seriously…

…. I suck! I can go on and make excuses as to why I have not been around to update my own blog. I could go on to explain that work, and life has taken over my favourite hobbies? I could go on to explain and make even more random excuses but that would not get me anywhere or make up for my lack of updates, and commitment to this domain.

I do have many great ideas of blog entries to write up, I just never get around to it. I should just easily give up on blogging all together, but I won’t simply because I have been doing this way to long. I have blog archives that go back to 2002! That is 8 years of blog entries, with heart and soul.

One blog that I know of that has some wicked heart is Paddling-Geek.net. The owner Kimm (also my IRL friend) is on her third year instalment of “Comment 4 a Cause”. What is Comment 4 a cause you ask? Well it is exactly as it sounds, just leave a thoughtful comment on her daily blog entries throughout the month of April and she’ll match a dollar of her own money per comment to donate to an Organization Cause. This year she has chosen to support Right to Play: International. Last year she raised $186 for the MS Society. Will she pass her amount raised last year? Only you can make it happen! Why don’t you subscribe to her RSSFeed so you don’t miss a post?
